What We Believe:
About God:
There is one true and living God manifested in three equal
but separate persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is
eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent, and perfect
in holiness.
About Jesus Christ:
Jesus is fully God and
became fully man at His incarnation as He was conceived of the
Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. By His substitutionary
death on the cross at Calvary He made complete provision for
redemption of man. He arose from the dead after three days of His
own power and now is exalted at the right hand of the Father in
heaven. He will call His Bride, the church, to join Him and He
will return in power and glory to judge the world and reign
forever.
About Holy Spirit: Holy Spirit exalts Christ.
Through inspiration He led holy men to write the Scriptures.
Today through illumination He enables men to understand the
Truth. He convicts of sin, leads men to the Savior, and effects
regeneration as the repentant sinner accepts forgiveness through
the finished work of Christ. His presence in the believer assures
eternal life. He is the ever abiding Comforter promised by
Jesus.
ABOUT SALVATION:
Our Problem:
Our sin has separated us from God. We are all sinners by
nature and by choice: "For all have sinned and come short of the
glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
We deserve death and hell: " For the wages of sin is death."
(Romans 6:23)
We are powerless to save ourselves: " All our righteousness
are like filthy rags." (Isaiah 64:6); "Not by works least any man
should boast." (Ephesians 2:9); and Jesus said; "I am the way the
truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but by Me."
God's Provision:
God loves you and has a purpose for your life. Her wants you
to have eternal life. For all that would believe in Christ: "For
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whosoever believes in Hi should not perish but have eternal
life." (John 3:16)
Because Jesus paid the price for our sin: "For Christ also has
once suffered for sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might
bring us to God." (1Peter 3:18)
Jesus rose from the dead that we could have eternal life:
"(Jesus) was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for
our justification." (Romans 4:25)
Our Response:
We must receive Him as Savior: "But as many as received Him,
to them gave He power to become sons of God" (John 1:12)
We must place our faith in Him: "For by grace are you saved
through faith: and not of yourselves; it is a gift of God"
(Ephesians 2:8)
We must confess and believe: "If you confess with your mouth
the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him
from the dead, you shall be saved" (Roman 10:9)
